Hello and welcome!

​I'm Laura, a UK-based illustrator and designer living near the historic city of Bath. 

​

My work explores the gentle magic found where the natural world meets the fantastical, drawing inspiration from the whimsical landscapes of the Cotswolds, where I grew up.

​

My passion lies in crafting highly detailed illustrations, rich with texture and vibrant colour, with a particular affection for intricate middle-grade fantasy book covers and chapter illustrations.

​

My journey began with a BA in Illustration, followed by professional experience as an in-house illustrator and graphic designer. I am currently refining my craft and expanding my understanding of the industry while pursuing my MA in Children's Publishing at Bath Spa University.

 

When I'm not drawing, you can usually find me hunting for a great piece of vintage clothing, experimenting with a new loose-leaf tea blend (I take my tea seriously!), or getting lost in a good fantasy novel.​
